NEOPRENE is a synthetic rubber material designed to be resilient, flexible, durable and very resistant to failure and/or breakdown by water and compression. Air and water become isolated in it’s unique molecular structure. For instance, you can find neoprene commonly in oven mitts because of its high heat resistance and high temperature stability. That’s why neoprene is ideal for use in shoe soles, noise cancellation, clothing and anything else the requires a soft, spongy rubber material. This product is also used in costuming for cosplayers and many arts and crafts projects. Neoprene should not be used in long sunlight exposure applications. Neoprene has a medium tensile strength therefore it is vulnerable to rips. To prevent any rips or tears order this product with nylon fabric on 1 side or both sides.  We sell that by the foot. This product comes in 7 ft lengths, approximately 51″ x 83″and 1/4″ comes in sheets of 130 “=11 ft x 51”
