The Bluebird is a general-purpose mountaineering axe designed for steep snow and non-technical ice.

This has a curved shaft which makes it easier to use in more technical situations and the 2019 redesign is now 10% lighter than predecessors without sacrificing the durability of strength.

Hot Forged Stainless Steel ergonomic head attached to an aircraft grade anodized, sandblasted aluminium curved shaft. The shaft has a dual texture grip and includes a sliding pommel for a more ergonomic operation.

Pick, Adze and Spike protectors are included.
